Citrus Peel for Digestive Issues

Do you eat the meat of the citrus fruit then discard the peel? You could be missing out on some well needed medicinal properties if so.

The protective coating of oranges, the peel, is bitter tasting with a pungent and sweet quality.

Perfect for moving stagnation, clearing obstructions and draining damp.

If you add apple cider vinegar and hot water to the peel you create a sour bitter flavour which can reduce excess liver symptoms such as depression, indigestion, mood swings and PMT.

This Detoxing and highly activating mix can include honey also.

If you're a very hot person, you can swap vinegar (which is warming) for a cooling sour like grapefruit or lemon.
