Slow Down

Being busy is different to being productive. It's great to get things ticked off the to do list and you're doing brilliantly. But try this. Tell yourself to slow down. Talk slower, walk slower, eat slower, breathe!

Take a few more seconds before you make your next move, make the next call, do the next job.

How you tackle your day can be an insight into your personality, a busy, productive person would never want to look lazy. However dismissing the need to take time out can leave you frazzled by the end of the day, emotionally, physically and mentally.

If you feel that you haven't got time to sit and enjoy your coffee, breakfast, or stopping to sit on a bench for 10 minutes seems like a waste of time, then you definitely need to slow down.

You may find that you actually get more done, when you slow down

Check in with yourself throughout the day. Can you slow down and still get all your jobs done?

Put your mental health at the top of your to do list, take breaks, clear your thoughts for a few moments, look out of the window, and take a breath.

you may find that you actually get more done when you slow down ❤️
